Simulating GPS Devices by Clicking on Google Maps
In some instances you may want to simulate GPS devices in the field during development and testing. You can do this by invoking HTTP requests and passing the appropriate parameters or use our built-in simulator. The simulator was originally developed as an internal tool to test geofence notifications, but it’s come in handy in many different scenarios so we wanted to share it with you. After logging in to your Foundation application, navigate to:
http://customer.domain.com/simulator

You should see two drop-down menus with a map. Select a device from the menu and then click anywhere on the map. If you have geofences defined the second drop-down will populate, you can then select a geofence which will display on the map. Click inside the geofence boundary to create a notification and then click outside the geofence boundary to create another. You can then navigate back to the overview screen and see the location reading that was just inserted.
