Hey guys…

The content you’ve been providing here has been great. Being new to Ruby development in general, I would love to see more articles/screencasts showing more about the actual development lifecycle that people typically use for Ruby/Rails development and more specifically the best practices that Numerex suggests.

Here are a couple suggestions for more content along these lines:

- How about a forum area for “off-topic” discussions (not too off-topic, off course) - for example to talk about preferred development tools, new Ruby/Rails features, etc.

- What about a Tips/Tricks article showing how to use Capistrano within the Numerex/Ublip environment

-I would love to see more screencasts. How about one that demos the one full iteration of development: 1. Getting the code, 2. Making a logic change, 3. Testing it locally, 4. Deploying it to production. (or something to that effect).

Great suggestions.

The off-topic forum has been created so feel free to post there. We’ll get a Capistrano article posted with SVN compat, and then will cover one using Git. The screencast idea is actually one we have in the works and you should see it early next week.

Let us know if you come up with anything else.
