I was wondering if it would be possible to support polygons for geofences instead of just being able to use circles. The situation I am running into is someone that lives near a highly used road or freeway. With the circle I can try to make it really small but in some cases the circle boundary is still corssing a road or freeway and is getting triggered by other drivers just driving by the house on the freeway.

That’s a really good use-case for polygons. This is something we’ve discussed internally and a few customers have actually requested this capability. I’ll be sure to mention it with the team and see what we can get on the product roadmap. I’ll keep you posted.

did this ever make it to the roadmap?

We’ve done this for certain customers through a professional services engagement, but it’s still not part of the core code. Please talk to your account rep and stress the importance of this feature to your organization.
