I started making some modifications to the /mobile section and I’m having issues with maps not showing up. any pointers?

My first thought is you may want to check our staging and production config files and make sure the Google Maps API key is applicable for your host. Look for Google_Maps_Api_Key.

Can it be changed to the client=... that the rest of the site uses?

Generated new keys and it works ok now.
